The Team

John Rosen, President
John is responsible for the firm's leadership, strategic direction and its asset management and investment efforts. Consistent with Wexford's core approach, John has direct, hands-on involvement with all of Wexford's assignments and is responsible for client and investor communication. Prior to founding Wexford, John Rosen served as managing director for Rockbridge, a private equity firm based in Columbus, Ohio, where he oversaw a portfolio of 80+ equity and debt hotel investments with a total asset value of over $2 billion. He has over 25 years of hotel real estate experience in asset management, acquisitions, development and operations and in total has overseen or acquired hotel assets worth over $4 billion across virtually all product types, brands and regions nationally. In his free time, John enjoys coaching his son's lacrosse team, (extremely) amateur sports car racing, and quoting obscure movies from the 80s and 90s.

Joe Langley, Vice President, Investments
Joe leads Wexford’s investment origination and underwriting efforts across its fundraising and acquisition platform. Prior to joining Wexford, Joe was Assistant Vice President at Waterton, a $4 billion Chicago-based private equity firm, where he was involved in hotel acquisitions and dispositions totaling over $1 billion. A graduate of Fordham University but a native of Chicago, Joe is a typically annoying Cubs fan but is doing his best to become a similarly annoying Buckeye fan. In his free time, Joe enjoys travelling internationally and then talking about it in excess to anyone he can get to listen.

Chris is responsible for Wexford’s asset management analysis and support functions, including benchmarking, hotel analytics, client reporting and general support. He also supports Wexford’s underwriting activities. Prior to Wexford, Chris graduated with magna cum laude distinction from the Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business with a dual major in Finance and Real Estate and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Chris has no free time.
